PLEASE DON'T BUY FROM CRAIGSLIST OR ANYWHERE ONLINE.
We see people fall for 'great deals' online all the time and end up screwed. PLEASE, FOR YOUR OWN SAKE... BUY ONE FROM ANY LOCAL SHOP, BUT DON'T BUY ONLINE. ![]() If you do not buy a scooter from a local dealer, at some point you will end up with a scooter that doesn't work and you'll have no local support. Don't 'save thousands' (ahem) and end up with yard art. It's just not worth it. If you do buy online, please do not ask us to service your scooter when it breaks down. It's offensive. We will remind you that we only work on scooters purchased from us. Then you'll swear at us when we suggest you might try to get support from the place you bought it. Somehow we are jerks because you bought your scooter online (with no support) and thought you were saving money. Sigh.... Most people who sell new scooters online aren't even licensed dealers. They don't stock parts, they don't have a service department, they cannot support you, and in some cases they can't even legally sell you a scooter. A scooter is a motor vehicle, not a book. If you wanted to buy a book from Amazon.com and 'save money', that could make sense (although supporting a local bookstore would be preferable.) Books and scooters are very different. Books don't need maintenance or parts. And if someone neglected to assemble the book properly, you won't end up with road rash or worse. Ah.... don't get me started! |
